    Dr. Ngoc Lan Thi Dang is currently Acting Head of the Language Center and Foundation Year of the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in Vietnam. She is also an adjunct English instructor and researcher for VGU and two educational research institutes in Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam.     I obtained my PhD degree from The University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2016. My field of study is Mathematical Analysis. I am interested in solving mathematical problems and understanding the application of mathematics in real-life contexts.
    Field expertise:
    My main interest lies in the theory of partial differential equations.
    Specifically I am working with degenerate elliptic operators which are considered as generalisations of strongly elliptic operators.
