EXPERIENCE
Working as Chemical Engineer at Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI), PetroVietnam. Holding several Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions at the University of Queensland, Australia; the University of Oklahoma, USA; National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.
The main research focuses on
1. Molecular modeling and simulation (density functional theory, Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics methods) of nanoporous materials, equilibrium and dynamics of adsorption and separation processes, and nanoparticle based drug delivery systems.
2. Synthesis of lightweight materials (cellulose aerogels and aerogel composites etc).
3.Geochemical evaluation of source rocks and source rock-oil correlations for petroleum exploration and production. Identity of oil-spill source.
