  • Liu Wai Yip
    Dr. Liu is lecturer teaching the following modules at VGU:

    Dr. Liu is senior member of ieee. He graduated from University of Leeds, UK in 2002 with a PhD in terahertz, millimeter-wave and microwave engineering. Since then, he has spent one and half years in University of Michigan as a postdoctoral researcher. From Dec 2003 to June 2006, he became a principal investigator of a UK government-funded research in 3D nano/microfabrication. After completion of the contract, this project has continued for a further few years until 2009, when he became a course director/ associate professor of Hong Kong Campus of CCNU. From 2015 until Dec 2018, He was a foreign research scholar/research fellow /laboratory manager at SUSTC, where he taught the following courses:

  • Dr. Phu Do Xuan
    Do Xuan Phu received the B.S and M.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology (BKU), Vietnam, in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He received the Ph.D degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University, South of Korea, in 2015. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design-MIT from 2015 to 2016.
    Dr. Phu joined the Department of Mechatronics and Sensor Systems Technology at Vietnamese-German University, Vietnam, in 2017. He is also a lecturer of Hochshule Karlsruhe - University of Applied Science, Germany. His research areas include intelligent control, mechanism and actuators, smart materials and structures for robotics, medical robotics and devices.
    Dr. Phu is founding director of MediRobotics Laboratory at Vietnamese-German University, Vietnam.
