Vietnamese German University,
Dr. Liu is lecturer teaching the following modules at VGU:

1) Microcontroller
2) Electrical Engineering
3) Electronics
4) Special Topic (Antenna and Wave Propagation)
5) Technical Writing

Dr. Liu is senior member of ieee. He graduated from University of Leeds, UK in 2002 with a PhD in terahertz, millimeter-wave and microwave engineering. Since then, he has spent one and half years in University of Michigan as a postdoctoral researcher. From Dec 2003 to June 2006, he became a principal investigator of a UK government-funded research in 3D nano/microfabrication. After completion of the contract, this project has continued for a further few years until 2009, when he became a course director/ associate professor of Hong Kong Campus of CCNU. From 2015 until Dec 2018, He was a foreign research scholar/research fellow /laboratory manager at SUSTC, where he taught the following courses:

RF/microwave Engineering
Antenna
CNC micromachining
Nano- and micro-fabrication, MEMS
Photolithorgraphy, Ebeam lithorgraphy
Microelectronics

Before receiving his PhD, he was in the industry as a IC designer, VLSI engineer and CAD developer, having spent almost a decade in multi-national organizations like Agilent Technologies, Bell Laboratory, Motorola, Hitachi Europe, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
