  • Nguyen Hoang Vinh Khang
    Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vinh Khang was a student of Electrical Engineering & Information Technology (EEIT, now is ECE) intake 2011 and master student of Mechatronics and Sensor Systems Technology (MST) of VGU intake 2015. He did his Master thesis titled “GESTURE CONTROLLED ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT”, where he applied Karplus-Strong algorithm for generating a sound from a random signal, which is possible to develop an electronic instrument on a hardware platform with limited memory that is not capable of storing a complete sound library. Since June 2022, he takes a Lab Engineer position at MediRobotics Lab of the MST master’s program. Field expertise:

  • Peter Giesecke
    Study of Mechanical Engineering and Physics, Promotion in the field of Nuclear Reaktor Materials, 15 years practical experience as head of the department for mechanical design and sensor development at Schenck company in Darmstadt, three years experience as freelancer for the projecting of special equipment for the development of airplanes (windtunnels, turbine testing facilitys, fatigue testing of wings etc.) all over the world, but mostly in Indonesia. Twenty years lecturing at the University for applied sciences in Frankfurt (Germany): Industrial measuring technic, sensor application, mechatronic philosophy, sensors and actuators, development of smart sensors. Now retired but not tired, teaching at the German Jordan University in Amman, at two Universities in Äthiopia (Addis Abeba and Mekele, and at the Vietnamese German University in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Dr. Phu Do Xuan
    Do Xuan Phu received the B.S and M.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology (BKU), Vietnam, in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He received the Ph.D degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University, South of Korea, in 2015. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design-MIT from 2015 to 2016.
    Dr. Phu joined the Department of Mechatronics and Sensor Systems Technology at Vietnamese-German University, Vietnam, in 2017. He is also a lecturer of Hochshule Karlsruhe - University of Applied Science, Germany. His research areas include intelligent control, mechanism and actuators, smart materials and structures for robotics, medical robotics and devices.
    Dr. Phu is founding director of MediRobotics Laboratory at Vietnamese-German University, Vietnam.
